Dear Beth Am Parents,
Shana Tovah! We would like to welcome all our new and returning families to another amazing year at Temple Beth Am Religious School. Our names are Elizabeth Roth, Corinna Tamargo and Jennifer Pleva and we are your School Committee Chair People for the 2013-2014 school year. We have a lot of exciting activities and fundraisers planned for the upcoming year.
Our first fundraiser will be a bake sale on Wednesday, October 16th. It can only be successful with your help!! If you wish to volunteer your time or can bring in tasty treats, please RSVP via our new PTA email address – by October 5th, so we can plan accordingly. You can also contact Laurie Satcowitz at 516-850-2338 who is generously donating her time orchestrating the bake sales as well. Some suggested items for donation are: Cookies, Muffins, Brownies, Pastries, Donuts, Home baked goods, Allergy sensitive treats, or Gluten free treats.
As a Peanut Aware School, we kindly ask families to avoid products with peanuts in it. For those families who wish to donate Allergy Sensitive Friendly foods – please have them store bought and kept sealed with the note of details (i.e. dairy free, etc.). Please note allergy sensitive foods will be on a separately marked table to help ensure the child’s safety.
Two popular fundraisers we would like to remind you of are GOODSEARCH/GOODSHOP and BOXTOPS. and are Internet search engines. Our Hebrew School receives a penny for each hit on the search engines and ten cents for each Box top. Please bring collected Box tops to the main office. Both are very easy ways to help our school from the convenience of your home.  If you need assistance or questions regarding these fundraisers, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Please be on the lookout for information regarding future fundraising events such as the Thanksgiving Pie fundraiser, Book Sale, etc. The success of the PTA is completely dependent on volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact either Nicole in the Hebrew School office or contact us at We look forward to working with you!!
