Highlights include:

Wednesday, May 16 & May 30 from 7PM to 9PM and Sunday. May 20 from 11AM to 1PM.  The Merrick-Bellmore Jewish Community Council is looking for volunteers, teens and adults, ages 12 and up. MBJCC needs help painting banners and posters for the Celebrate Israel Parade. Call 516-378-1963 to tell them when you can volunteer. Students can receive community service credit. Just bring any forms that have to be signed for credit.

Friday, May 18 - Chai Society presents Shabbat Dinner in the Social Hall at 6:45PM. Chai Society Members $5, non-members $10. Children under 10 free. RSVP by May 10th to the Temple Office.

Tuesday, May 22Brotherhood’s 12th Annual Golf Outing At Lido Golf Club. Break from your ordinary routine and enjoy a special day out. Open to Temple members and their family, friends and business associates. The day starts at 6:30AM and includes: A shotgun start, continental breakfast, driving range tokens, putting contest, golf fees, cart rental, prizes, lunch with beverage, and 19th hole refreshments. The cost is $135 per golfer or $500 per complete, pre-paid foursome. Questions call Neil 377-2823 or Mike Krassner 679-5711.

Wednesday, May 23, 8PM: Tsippy & Rabbi Brown present “How to Talk Jewish in Israel” from 8 to 9PM in Room 15. RSVP required to Jayne at 378-3477.

Sunday, June 3 — Chai Society Paid Up Member Brunch 10:30AM in the Social Hall. Come join us for brunch and entertainment by Abbey Gewirtz, entertainer, teacher and comedian. You will laugh, learn, sing and walk out smiling! RSVP to the Temple by May 29th

Sunday, June 3Celebrate Israel Parade in Manhattan. The Merrick-Bellmore Jewish Community Council marches the Israel Day Parade route together — a unique experience you will always cherish. Registration form is in booklet. RSVP by May 20, 2012. For more info: www.mbjewish.org

Monday & Tuesday June 19 & 20: Brotherhood sponsored Defensive Driving Class
