2011 December/2012 January

The January newsletter has been mailed. But you can download it here if you like.

Highlights include:

December 22: Life Line Screening.  Life Line Screening uses ultrasound technology to view the plaque build up in your carotid arteries, the main arteries that carry blood to the brain. Blockages in these arteries are a leading cause of stroke. We are pleased to host this Life line Screening event in the Social Hall.  All screenings take 60-90 minutes to complete.  Call 1-800-324-1851 for more information or to pre-register.

December 27 & 28: Brotherhood sponsored Defensive Driving class

January 7: Sisterhood trip to The Jewish Museum to see the exhibit "The Snowy Day and the Art of Ezra Jack Keats". More information

January 8: South Shore Bikun Cholim's Blood Drive. More information

January 25, 8pm: Congregational Meeting, Youth Lounge

January 29, 9:30am: Family Fun Day at Merrick Cinemas.
