Beth Am Building Still Closed - Oct 31

Dear Congregants,

I hope this email finds you and your family well, if perhaps in the dark.  It is times like this that we realize what is most important to us. While pumping out a basement or replacing your possessions might seem devastating, try to count the blessings that you have.  As my grandmother used to say "You can replace a broken plate but you can't replace a life."

With that said, a few none-too-surprising announcements:
  • The Temple Beth Am building still has no power as of this morning.
  • Hebrew School for today, Weds, Oct 31, has been canceled.
  • The previously scheduled Congregational Meeting scheduled for tonight, Oct 31, will be postponed and rescheduled at a later date.
  • The status of this weekends' Shabbat services is still pending.
We have been sending notices to News12, if you have power and Cablevision.  They are simulcasting on KJOY (98.3 FM), if you only have radio access.

I will also try to update the temple's website, Facebook page and Twitter feed with additional information as I learn it.
