Bone Marrow Drive April 22

posted Apr 20, 2012, 11:40 AM by David Plass
Please see the attached flyer for a bone marrow drive for Dan, a member of the Iraqi Jewish Community.
Dan is a 38-year-old member of the Iraqi Jewish
community in need of a bone marrow transplant.
What can you possibly do to help? Just get swabbed.

No donor match has been found for Dan, as the
Iraqi Jewish community is tremendously under-
represented in the worldwide bone marrow
registries.  Adding 10,000 Iraqi Jews to the registry
will triple the chance of someone in the community
finding a match.  A simple cheek swab is all it takes!

Sunday, April 22, 2012
12 noon - 4:00pm

Babylonian Jewish Center
440 Great Neck Road
Great Neck, NY

Eligible donors must be between the ages of 18-60 in
general good health, meet the guidelines and willing
to donate to any patient, at any time, worldwide.
