Temple Beth Am of Merrick and Bellmore will hold its weekly
congregant-led summer Shabbat services beginning Friday, June 29
at 8 p.m. These services are “short and sweet and give each summer
Sabbath a delightful start,” says incoming President Pamela Brandenberger.

The one-hour services are held in the in the Social Hall in the upper level of
the temple, located at 2377 Merrick Ave, Merrick NY. Access is from the rear
parking lot.

The community is welcomed to participate, especially those who are considering
joining the congregation. The informality of the service provides an excellent
opportunity to meet active and participating members and have all questions
answered. Every Friday night during the summer, from 7pm to 8pm we will be
hosting an open house for potential members. Please come see what Beth Am
is all about and stay for our casual services.

Summer Shabbat services are sponsored by the Board of Trustees, Sisterhood,
Brotherhood, and Chai Society on a rotating basis.

For more information, contact the temple office at 378-3477. You may also visit
our website at which contains a full calendar.

Temple Beth Am is the only Reform congregation in Merrick and Bellmore.
