Safe House Needs SUMMER Items

On behalf of the residents of SAFE HOUSE, please accept my heartfelt appreciation for making their winter more bearable.

Due to the generous donations by Brotherhood,  Chai Society and members of Sisterhood, we were able to purchase hats, gloves, scarves and thermals,  for over 30 children of all ages.  Thinking about the brutally cold weather we have been having, it is hard to imagine them going to school without these essential items!    We were also able to provide small holiday gifts, as well.

Thank you also to the congregants who donated gently used clothing, toys, books and other items.  Please continue to drop off your donations in the Safe House bin in the upstairs lobby.   Toiletries, underwear and socks for women and children are always gratefully accepted.

Although it may be hard to believe, warmer weather will be here before long.  Please consider a cash donation for the SAFE HOUSE SUMMER SWIM PROGRAM.  New or gently used swim suits, beach towels and flip flops are also gladly welcome for children of all ages.  Questions or concerns?  Please contact Barbara Bressler at 516 632 8381.

Thank you for your kindness and support!
