7. Legacy

Emma had been in Europe in 1882. She returned home ill with Hodgkin’s disease in
July of 1887 and died on November 19th at age 38.

WHILE SHE IS NOT FAMOUS TODAY….HER POEM IS! We hope the exhibit at the
MUSEUM OF JEWISH HERITAGE….A LIVING MEMORIAL TO THE HOLOCAUST, will bring
her name to the attention of more people and she receive the fame she deserves.
