Back to Temple Arms

David Roberts, Brotherhood President

Brotherhood is one of the social and fundraising arms of Temple Beth Am. Brotherhood at Temple Beth Am continues to be a chain of synagogue life which participates in both religious and social functions. Of all the functions that brotherhood is involved with, the opportunity to hang out with a great group of guys and participate in their efforts to serve the Temple Beth Am community is well received. Some functions include:

    • Annual paid-up members dinner

    • Family oriented activities

    • Raise funds for the Temple (annual Purim carnival)

    • Sponsoring annual trips (Holocaust memorial & tolerance center)

    • Annual golf outing

    • Joint programming with Sisterhood

    • Providing aid to families undergoing a period of hardship or stress

    • And more . . . .

The brotherhood's recent contributions included the purchase of an automatic external defibrillator (AED) device to offer protection to our members while attending services, matching funds for the purchase of 250 new chairs for the social hall, and various other projects around the building.

Meetings are usually held on the first Monday of every month. If you would like more information about Brotherhood or any of our events, please contact the temple office, or email us at
