Junior Youth Group
The Junior Youth Group is for children in grades 5-6-7. We meet one Wednesday a month, and whether it is an in house meeting or a trip, we always a lot of fun. In the past, our trips have included: laser tag, rock climbing, swimming, bowling, miniature golf, gaga and the New York party zone. We are always looking for new and exciting places to visit. Our in-house meetings include scavenger hunts, Chanukah parties and chocolate seders.
BATY is for high school students, grades 8-12. BATY meets two Tuesdays a month, right before Hebrew High. This group is devoted to both fun and learning. While in house games like Scruples and Pictionary are played, we also learn leadership and programming skills. Members of this group are asked to help out at Temple events like the Purim Carnival, the sandwich Mitzvah and blood drives. They also help run the 56 Club in house meetings. Members of this group earn community service as well as letters of recommendation for college, scholarships, programs and jobs.
