Our Temple has a BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE in which names of deceased loved ones may be inscribed for remembrance prior to the High Holy Days. The BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE is distributed during the Yizkor Service on Yom Kippur.
The BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE should not be confused with our regular file from which you are reminded annually of the Yahrzeit of loved ones.
Only the names sent to the Temple on the form, below, will be listed in our BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE, distributed on Yom Kippur. It is also a tradition to list loved ones lost in the past year on the first page of the Book of Remembrance. If a loved one has died in the past year (September 2020 - present) please fill out the yahrzeit form, below, and send it back to the Temple as well.
It is customary to make a donation in memory of the loved ones whose names are to be inscribed. Any congregant wishing to have inscriptions placed in our BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE should forward them to the Temple, by Friday, August 23, 2021.
Very truly yours,
BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
