Lori and her husband Damon have been members of Temple Beth Am since 2001. Their three children, Drew, Sydney and Nick all attended Temple Beth Am Hebrew School through B'nai Mitzvah and the entire family remains active in Jewish life and the Merrick community.

Lori is beginning her 2nd year of her two year term as president.  In addition, she is a past Vice President of Temple Beth Am and has been active on the board since 2017. She was the advertising chair for the past 3 years.

Lori attended SUNY New Paltz with a major in Business Administration and is now is president and CEO of her own company. She oversees the daily actions of her 20 employees and her business, which has been a NYC-and NYS-Certified Woman Owned Business to work with the City of NY.

Lori enjoys traveling to new countries and exploring new cultures.

Nicole Miller (Co-President)

 

 

Nicole, her husband Hugh, and her children, Aiden and Jillian, joined Temple Beth Am shortly after moving to Merrick.  Aiden recently became a Bar Mitzvah and Jillian will be called to the Torah in June of 2024.

Nicole has been on the Temple board for the past several years and has been very active in setting up program geared to the youth of the synagogue, including revamping the youth group, starting a "Shabbat Jr." program, and developing family programing.

Nicole attended Clark University where she obtained both a BA and MA in education.  She currently works as a Resource Room teacher at a private high school.
